Congratulations to Leah Liskai, Sandusky County Farm Bureau’s 2018 scholarship recipient.

A recent graduate of Woodmore High School, Leah is the daughter of Nate and Barb Liskai of Woodville. She is a member of St. Michael’s Church where she is an altar server and a volunteer for Vacation Bible School, the Table of Plenty and the annual chicken bbq. She also lends her time to the Sandusky County Flea Market, The Winter Wonderland and milkshake stand at the fairgrounds, and the Sandusky County Humane Society. Her leadership experience includes serving on Student Council, the Builders Club at Woodmore as well as giving her time as a 4-H camp counselor over the past three years.

Leah will attend Terra State Community College in the fall where she will study agricultural business.

If it wasn't for Farm Bureau, I personally, along with many others, would not have had the opportunity to meet with our representatives face to face in Washington, D.C.

We go to a lot of Farm Bureau events, and there’s a lot of camaraderie built because you’re meeting with people who have similar interests and goals.
