Meet 2018 Hamilton County Farm Bureau Scholarship Winner Austin Kordenbrock

Austin Kordenbrock of Okeana is receiving a $1,000 FFA scholarship on behalf of Hamilton County Farm Bureau. He is the son of Joe and Cori Zaenkert. Austin recently graduated from Ross High School and plans on attending Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in the fall to pursue a degree in computer network engineering technology.

Austin KordenbrockAustin has been an active member of 4-H for years, allowing a passion for animals to develop. Austin was able to show market hogs, steers and chickens at the county fair. In addition, he took various other projects to the fair and was a dedicated Ross-Butler Tech FFA member, which both demonstrate his abilities and determination.

Austin participated in numerous community service activities and even served as advisor for his 4-H club. Additionally, hes has worked various jobs to earn money toward his college education. Ultimately, his involvement in 4-H, FFA and work has enhanced Austin’s personal growth, leadership abilities and resolve. Congratulations, Austin!
