Meet one of the 2018 Warren County Farm Bureau Scholarship winners.
Julie is the daughter of John and Maria Hobbs. They currently reside in Oregonia, Ohio. Julie graduated from St. Raphael Homeschool in 2018, and will be attending college at The Ohio State University pursuing a degree in geology. She will also be participating in The Ohio State University Army ROTC Program. Julie plans on commissioning active duty after graduation from college to serve as an officer for the United States Army.
She has been active in her community. She was a part of the Warren County Junior Fair Board where she served as vice president in 2017. Julie served as the Junior Fair Board dog committee junior superintendent for three years, and was a Warren County camp counselor. She also served as a camp counselor for Ohio Military Kids as well as being a member of the St. Gertrude’s Youth Group. Julie also helps quite a bit at home to run the family llama operation as well as help take care of her sister.
