Meet a 2018 Hamilton County Farm Bureau Scholarship Winner Nathaniel Hauer
Nathaniel Hauer of Cleves is receiving a $500 scholarship from Hamilton County Farm Bureau. Nathaniel is the son of Tracy and Jason Hauer. He graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 2017 and is currently attending The Ohio State University – ATI for environmental science: forestry & wildlife. Nathaniel hopes to eventually work in the government- side of ecological management and problem solving.
Nathaniel has been a 4-H member and has been impacted largely because of his involvement. He has learned valuable skills, such as how to communicate and be a leader. Nathaniel’s dedication to 4-H was truly demonstrated by his courage to apply for the 4-H Hamilton County Junior Fair King. He was interviewed and crowned king in 2016. He gained various responsibilities and was pushed to become a great leader. In addition, Nathaniel has participated in numerous community service activities through 4-H and through high school. He became a dedicated participant of the Great American Cleanup Program and developed a passion for environmental science. Nathaniel also played sports in high school, ultimate frisbee and cross country. Congratulations, Nathaniel!
