Paulding County Farm Bureau is awarding up to $1,000 total in scholarships to attend the Young Ag Professionals Leadership Experience hosted by Ohio Farm Bureau. Once you attend the YAP Leadership Experience, the Paulding County Farm Bureau will reimburse the scholarship amount which will be determined after the conference.

This conference will be held Feb. 1-2, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, Ohio. This year the YAP Leadership Experience will have keynote speakers Vance Crowe and Chad Colby along with a trade show and commodity networking night. This is an opportunity for leadership experience, building personal and professional skills, networking with agricultural leaders, and making a difference in our communities, Farm Bureau, and agriculture. Come for personal and professional development, meeting other young professionals from around Ohio, fun, food, and fellowship! This is open to all Ohio Farm Bureau members ages 18-25.

If you have any questions about the conference or the scholarship, feel free to contact the office at (419) 523-5874.

Through its policies it brings together people in the agricultural community and invests in building vibrant communities that support agriculture.

We go to a lot of Farm Bureau events, and there’s a lot of camaraderie built because you’re meeting with people who have similar interests and goals.

If it wasn't for Farm Bureau, I personally, along with many others, would not have had the opportunity to meet with our representatives face to face in Washington, D.C.
