Meet a Montgomery County Farm Bureau Trustee Tom Thomas

Tom Thomas  has been a dedicated member for nearly 40 years and still continues to show his interest through his involvement. Tom has served on the board numerous times. Tom likes knowing that a simple farmer has a voice in legislative matters. He enjoys the lobbying efforts of the Farm Bureau and belonging to an organization that takes care of issues that a single person couldn’t handle. Aside from Farm Bureau, Tom is involved in most every wildlife group in Ohio. He is also a grain and hay farmer, with a small cattle operation. As a youth, Tom worked on farms, which instilled in him a passion for agriculture. Tom is a family-oriented person who encourages his family to become engaged in the Farm Bureau. Tom is a dedicated member and supporter of Farm Bureau.

As a member of Farm Bureau, I am glad that this organization takes action when necessary to protect and advance agriculture.

Farm Bureau is an incredible organization that has given me countless professional development opportunities in addition to advocating for all sizes and types of farmers.

If it wasn't for Farm Bureau, I personally, along with many others, would not have had the opportunity to meet with our representatives face to face in Washington, D.C.
