We would like to take the time on Tuesdays to introduce you to our trustees! While our trustees are busy with their jobs and families, they still manage to find time to do great work for Farm Bureau and we appreciate all that they continue to do for their respective county! We value these members and their many hours contributed to making Farm Bureau great!
This week we would like to introduce you to Jamie Arthur.
Where did you grow up?
- I was born in the northeast part of Ohio. I then lived in Arizona before moving back here. I have lived in Greene County for about 20 years.
How long have you been a Farm Bureau member?
- 15 years
How long have you been a trustee?
- This is my first year.
What is your agriculture background?
- I worked part-time on farms during high school. I then purchased 75 acres of farmland in 2001 and started to focus on specialty crops.
What is your current job title?
- I am the owner of Little Miami Farms (Spring Valley).
What activities have you participated in with Farm Bureau?
- I have participated in Grain Bin Safety and the Test Your Well events.
What is one interesting fact about yourself?
- I grow hops on my farm.
