While 2020 has certainly been less than normal, your Knox County Farm Bureau remained hard at work. Now that 2020 is coming to an end, we are looking forward to the excitement of 2021 and bringing back some of the programs we were forced to cancel in 2020.
Thanks to our amazing partnership with Kari Ball Agency and Farm Credit Mid-America, we were able to provide every Knox County Fair exhibitor with a free T-shirt that says “I Believe in the Future of Agriculture.” These were handed out in both sale rings on sale day and were made available at the Kari Ball Agency after the fair for those exhibitors who didn’t sell livestock.
Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, Knox County Farm Bureau took action and donated over 600 pounds of chicken from CASE Farms to the hot foods programs in Knox County. We are thankful to have been able to help out in a time when CASE Farms was overrun with chicken and our local programs were in need!
Plans are currently underway for 2021 programs and events. Have an idea? Email [email protected] and let us know!
