Al Miller, District 17 trustee

Al Miller of Marietta was re-elected to his fifth term as District 17 trustee of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. His re-election took place during Ohio Farm Bureau’s 102nd annual meeting. Over the next three years, Miller will help govern Ohio’s largest general farm organization and represent Farm Bureau members in Belmont, Monroe, Noble and Washington counties.

Miller is a 37-year member of the Washington County Farm Bureau where he has served as president and as a board member. He also has chaired the membership, policy and safety committees and has been involved with county farmland preservation efforts.

He and his wife, Jean, own a commercial cow-calf farm where they also produce hay.

The mission of Ohio Farm Bureau is to work together for Ohio farmers and to advance agriculture and strengthen communities. Visit ofbf.org to learn more.

Farm Bureau is an incredible organization that has given me countless professional development opportunities in addition to advocating for all sizes and types of farmers.
