The Harrison County Farm Bureau is hosting a Half-A-Hog Raffle with profits going to the Harrison County Scholarship Fund. Tickets are being sold for $10. The winners will be drawn at the 2021 Harrison County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting Sept. 16 at the Commercial Building at the Harrison County Fairgrounds.
Tickets may be purchased from a Harrison County Farm Bureau board member or at the Harrison County Farm Bureau office, 2146 East High Avenue, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
The 245-pound hog was purchased from a Farm Bureau young active member at the 2021 Harrison County Fair. Processing is included and performed by Sugar Valley Meats in Sugacreek, Ohio.
