Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau goes Hog Wild

The 2021 Hog Wild fundraiser was a huge success!

Proceeds from the event go to the Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau scholarship fund and youth programs.

Forty Jackson and Vinton County businesses purchased pigs this year.
$5,592.36 was collected in the first round, “People’s Choice” and another $1606.39 was collected by 15 pigs in the “Top Hog” contest in just seven days.
A grand total collected for the Hog Wild event this year was $7198.75.

Dakota’s Roadhouse is the winner of the “Facebook Likes” contest with 136 likes, and the “Top Hog” contest collecting $826.12 in the second round of voting.

Jackson County Banking Center is the winner of the “People’s Choice” contest, collecting $512.84 in round one of the contest.

Piggly Wiggly of Oak Hill is the winner of the “Most Creative/Original Pig” contest.
