Madison County Farm Bureau is hosting a Festival of Wreaths to benefit local youth!

Businesses are invited to purchase a $35 wreath to participate. They can decorate the wreath with what they choose. Be creative! Wreaths will need to be displayed on a stand provided by MCFB and placed near a counter or register to set a money jar on at their place of business. Photos of each wreath will be posted on the MCFB Facebook page with a PayPal link specific to each participant. There will also be a QR code directing people to the PayPal link.

Oct. – Nov. 19: Wreaths will be available for purchase.
Week of Nov. 29: Wreaths will be delivered.
Dec. 6: Wreaths must be decorated and displayed. Photo must be submitted to MCFB via text (740) 777-3613 or email [email protected].
Dec. 6 – Jan. 10: Votes ($$) collected in jar and through PayPal.
Jan. 10: Money jar collected by Farm Bureau.
Jan. 14: Winner will be announced!

The business that collects the most funds will be named the winner and receive a prize package, including a logo on the Madison County Jr. Fair T-shirt and a complimentary table at the 2022 Farm Bureau Barn Bash. This prize package is valued at $340!

All proceeds go toward the Madison County Farm Bureau Scholarship and Youth Fund. To purchase a wreath, please call the MCFB office at (800) 451-8908 or complete this order form. Wreaths must be purchased by Nov. 19.

Labor has always been an issue, mainly because we are a seasonal operation. So that's a challenge finding somebody who only wants to work three months out of a year, sometimes up to six months.

I appreciate the benefit of having a strong voice in my corner. The extras that are included in membership are wonderful, but I'm a member because of the positive impact to my local and state agricultural communities.

I see the value and need to be engaged in the community I live in, to be a part of the decision-making process and to volunteer with organizations that help make our community better.

Leadership development
Farm Bureau involvement has taught me how to grow my professional and leadership experience outside of the workforce and how to do that in a community-centric way.

With not growing up on a farm, I’d say I was a late bloomer to agriculture. I feel so fortunate that I found the agriculture industry. There are so many opportunities for growth.

Growing our Generation
Knowing that horticulture is under the agriculture umbrella and having Farm Bureau supporting horticulture like it does the rest of ag is very important.

If it wasn't for Farm Bureau, I personally, along with many others, would not have had the opportunity to meet with our representatives face to face in Washington.

So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
