The Coshocton County Farm Bureau board of trustees has designated funds to assist with the next generation of youth pursuing a career in an agriculture-related field. Applicants must be residents of Coshocton County and members of the Coshocton County Farm Bureau, or have parents who are members. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2022.

 Applicant Qualifications

  1.  Student must be attending a 2 or 4 year school majoring in agriculture or an agriculture-related field.
  2. Student must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Award is given after student submits a current college transcript but must be within 18 months of award date.
  3. Applicant or their parent/ guardian must be a paid Coshocton County Farm Bureau member.
  4. Letters of recommendation: Three (3) letters from adult leaders, mentors and/or educators describing the applicant’s academic, community service and/or leadership experiences are required. Letters may not be written by the applicant, anyone under 21 years of age, or anyone related to the applicant or serving as a legal guardian. Contact information (at least one phone number) should be included for each reference.
  5. Essay: Please answer the following question in 300- 500 words:

How have you seen the pandemic affect agriculture and how do you suggest that Farm Bureau help improve this situation?
