Pike County Public Policy Breakfast
Pike County Farm Bureau hosted a Public Policy Breakfast on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the Government Center.
Read MorePike County Farm Bureau held its annual “Wreaths for all Seasons” fundraiser. This fundraiser raises money for scholarships and other youth programs in our community. Thirty local businesses purchase and decorate a wreath, then collect votes (money).
There are two categories to the contest:
“People’s Choice,” which is the business with the most votes, and “Most Creative/Original,” which is voted on by a committee of people. This year “Most Original/Creative” went to Emma’s Frosty Kreme and “People’s Choice” went to Klinker’s Lumber.
Congratulations to the following businesses on their top 10 placing (11 this year due to a tie) for the Pike County Farm Bureau Festival of Wreaths Contest KLINKER’S LUMBER, EMMAS FROSTY KREME, JESSICA’S ATTIC, WAVERLY GIOVANNIS, GERBER INSURANCE & FINANCIAL SERVIES, DAVIDA BROWN-PIKE COUNTY AUDITOR, WAVERLY NUTRITION, RAPP’S REPAIR SHOP, WILLIAMS HARDWARE-LATHAM, HAIR BIZ SALON and PIKETON FFA – TOP 10 WINNERS for their wreaths in the Pike County Farm Bureau Festival of Wreaths Scholarship contest. Thank you for your support of Farm Bureau and our youth!
