Shawhan graduates from Ohio Farm Bureau’s leadership program

The Young Ag Professionals Winter Leadership Experience is an annual conference with the opportunity for young professionals to build personal and professional skills, network with agricultural leaders and learn to make a difference in their community, Farm Bureau, and agriculture. Conference sessions covered topics ranging from traditional agriculture and niche farming/marketing to advocacy and consumer education topics.
Sarah Thomas said: “ An awesome weekend spent at the Young Ag Professionals conference with Farm Bureau. Learned about buying at a multitrack auction, building our brand, and how to negotiating with confidence!”
This annual event is an opportunity to enhance leadership experience while building personal and professional skills. Farm Bureau members between the ages of 18 and 35 years old are eligible to attend. The 2024 conference will return to Columbus.
