Each year, we host the Gallia County 4th grade students to teach them about different types of agriculture. The 333 students rotated through 16 different stations throughout the day. Along with them learning about ag, they also get to participate in a T-shirt drawing contest. They are supposed to draw what agriculture means to them. This year’s T-shirt contest winner was Annabell H. from Green Elementary! Each student was able to take home a free T-shirt with the winning design and sponsors on it along with a brochure about what Farm Bureau is and the events they were able to participate in for the day.
We could not host this wonderful event each year if it was not for the Gallia County Fairboard for allowing us to use the grounds, our wonderful sponsors who believe in what we are doing and our fantastic presenters that make the day a success!
