The Harrison County Farm Bureau annual meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26, 7 p.m. at the Harrison County Fair Commercial Building, in Cadiz. The county Farm Bureau will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the creation of Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. Volunteer leaders and award winners will be recognized. Board members and state annual meeting delegates will be elected and most importantly policy will be discussed and voted on.

The program speaker will be Frank Burkett, president of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. Burkett, in partnership with three uncles, co-owns and manages Clardale Farms, Inc., a dairy and crop farm located in Stark County. He is also a co-owner of Hills Supply, a well-known dairy supply company.
