Guernsey County Farm Bureau will hold its 2021 Annual Meeting of members Thursday, Aug. 12, at the Guernsey County Fairgrounds, Share Hall, 335 Old National Rd., Lore City. A pork chop dinner will be served from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The business meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Dine-in or carryout will be available.

At this meeting, the members will vote on proposed policies, elect Board of Trustees members, and elect delegates to the 2022 Ohio Farm Bureau Federation Annual Meeting. Policy concerns include oil and gas concerns, EPA and others.

County Farm Bureau President Vicki Wilson encourages all members to attend. “We are trying to combine our pork chop dinner this year since we were unable to hold it in the spring. We hope it’s a great turnout,” she said.

Meals are pre-sale only and the cost per member is $10, non-member- $12, and children under 8 $5.  Reservations are due Aug. 2.
