Be prepared to vote on our policies, elect trustees and 2022 delegates to the Ohio Farm Bureau Annual Meeting. These policies and trustees help guide the yearly plan of work for Marion County Farm Bureau volunteers.

Above all, Farm Bureau is the very heart and strength of the organization. Marion County Farm Bureau is seeking candidates for trustees to be elected at the Annual Meeting. There are six open seats on the board: two seats in the North District, one seat in the West District, and five at large positions.

Trustees are asked to attend board meetings, serve on committees with other volunteers and help direct the work of the county Farm Bureau.

Locally there are 24 trustees on the board. Active Members or Young Active Members, or their spouses, whose dues are paid, are eligible for the office of trustee. All trustees must live, work, or have an active agricultural interest in the county. All trustees elected by district must live, work, or have an active agricultural interest in said district.

North District – Salt Rock, Big Island, Marion

South District – Pleasant, Prospect, Richland, Waldo

East District – Clairdon, Grand Prairie, Scott, Tully

West District – Grand, Montgomery, Bowling Green, Green Camp

Nominations are due Aug. 5, to be on the ballot, but will be accepted from the floor at the annual meeting.
