Join us for the Richland County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting Thursday, Sept. 9. The meeting will be held at Der Dutchman located at 720 State Route 97 West, Bellville. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
Tickets are now available for $15 at the Richland County Farm Bureau office or from any current trustee. Call Farm Bureau at 419-747-7488 or click here to make a reservation and pay at the door. Reservations are due by Aug. 27.
Be prepared to vote on our policies, code changes, and elect trustees and 2022 delegates to the Ohio Farm Bureau Annual Meeting. These policies and trustees help guide the yearly plan of work for Richland County Farm Bureau volunteers.
Above all, Farm Bureau is the very heart and strength of the organization. Richland County Farm Bureau is seeking candidates for trustees to be elected at the Annual Meeting. There are two open seats on the board.
Trustees are asked to attend board meetings, serve on committees with other volunteers and help direct the work of the county Farm Bureau.
Locally there are 12 trustees on the board. Active Members or Young Active Members, or their spouses, whose dues are paid, are eligible for the office of trustee. All trustees must live, work, or have an active agricultural interest in the county.
Nominations are due Aug. 20, to be on the ballot, but will be accepted from the floor at the annual meeting.
