Clermont County Farm Bureau with kick off the 2016 Membership Campaign at Jungle Jim’s in Eastgate, Saturday, Feb. 13. The group will meet in the Conference Room from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A store tour and wine tasting will follow.

Anyone member interested in helping with the campaign is invited! Not, a member? Come and join at the door!

The kickoff will give members a chance to learn more about Farm Bureau and an opportunity to help their local Farm Bureau while making new friends and earning some great prizes! Volunteers will be given the materials they need to sign new members plus a big shot of enthusiasm to get them on their way toward meeting the membership goals. The county’s main goal for 2016 is to make active (farmer) gain.

“Farm Bureau’s membership campaign is member led and this year we are inviting all members to help by telling their friends and neighbors about the value of belonging to Farm Bureau. You don’t have to be a farmer to be a Farm Bureau member,” said Heather Utter, organization director. “Clermont County Farm Bureau works extensively at the community, state and national level to set policies that will improve the rural standard of living, increase net farm income and protect personal property rights.”

She emphasized that Farm Bureau is a family organization with program, involvement opportunities and benefits for all members of the family. Last year’s membership was a total of 2,230 members, with 646 being active (farmer) members.

Please call the Farm Bureau office at 937-378-2212 (888-378-2212) by 4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10 if you would like to become involved.
