Have a tree that you pass on a regular basis that you always wonder “what
is that?” Own a woodland and want to know exactly what trees you have?
Then Name That Tree is the class for you! This one day workshop is
designed to give participants in-depth training and practice on identifying
trees using leaves and other common characteristics. The class begins
indoors with some introductory identification clues and samples that we use
to work through a dichotomous key. The afternoon is spent outside
practicing.
Cost is $35 and includes lunch and materials. The class is worth five credit hours for the Ohio Forest Tax Law Program. Deadline to register is May 27.
