Mahoning County Farm Bureau will be heating up its membership campaign on Saturday, Feb. 11 as it kicks off the 2017 Membership Campaign with a Chili Cook-Off & Farm Showcase at the Greenford Ruritan building on the Canfield Fairgrounds.

We will be highlighting our mission, our accomplishments, the benefits of being a member and involvement opportunities. As Ohio Farm Bureau approaches its 100th anniversary, the organization faces new challenges and opportunities. Growing membership is paramount to our success and we need your help. Together, with farmers we can work toward a better tomorrow, one with clean air and water, safe food, economic development, farmland preservation and strong communities.

Bring your friends or a new or renewal membership to qualify for prizes. Chili will be served and winning recipes will be picked. For information on the Chili Cook-off and Farm Showcase, click here.

If you are interested in participating in the Chili Cook-off or Farm Showcase, fill out the registration form and return it to Mahoning County Farm Bureau.

Please RSVP to the Farm Bureau office at 440-437-8700 or by email by Monday, Feb. 6.

Farm Bureau membership is open to all Ohioans, including farmers, producers, young farmers, gardeners, food and wine enthusiasts and anyone who would like to support Ohio’s food and farming community. Learn more at growwithfb.org.
