Spring is the perfect time for the kids to get out and enjoy the outdoors. This year’s program will have kids buzzing about beehives and the role pollinators play in the garden.

Volunteers are hosting two “make and take” stations, where kids will have fun while making a colorful garden stepping stone to take home, and then plant a bulb or seeds in easy-to-make paper pots to watch them grow at home. Kids will learn about the Waggle Dance and become official “Hive Members” in a hands-on experience that will teach them about the role bees play in pollinating our flowers and food.

Cost is $5 per participating child. Parental or adult supervision is REQUIRED for the duration of the program. Registration forms can be found online. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. No walk-ins, please!

Registration deadline is April 27, 2017 or until class is full.
