A series of food preservation workshops are planned to bring Noble County Farm Bureau members and other community members together to learn about the proper steps and methods of home food preservation. This will be a four-class series starting in July and ending in October.

The workshops will be held at the Joyce M. Davis Senior Center, 300 Cumberland St, Caldwell. The presenter will be Sami Schott, OSU Extension, Noble County.  These classes will be hands on, with the class preparing the products. Each class will be held once a month on a Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. There is no cost for Noble County Farm Bureau members and the cost for non-members is $25 per class.

The topics and dates are as follows: July 5, Jams & Jellies; Aug. 2, Vegetables; Sept. 6, Fermented & Pickled Vegetables and Oct. 4, Wild Game.

Registration is required to attend.  All participants are asked to call Noble County Farm Bureau, 740-425-3681, 10 days prior to each class to register.
