Leaders from the economic development organization, Regional Growth Partnership (RGP), will provide an update on the agribusiness and food processing sectors July 20. The event is hosted by the Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT) at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation (AIF).

RGP executives Mike Jay, director of strategic networks, and Chase Eikenbary, senior regional project manager, JobsOhio, will share information on the efforts to promote these vital industries across the country, explain partnerships that are helping facilitate projects for growth, and highlight other key industries in the region. They will also explain the work being done to formally certify five sites for food processing development.

The RGP, a privately led organization, is recognized as the region’s lead economic development organization serving 17 counties in northwest Ohio.

Arrive early, as breakfast and informal networking will start at 8 a.m., with the program to follow. The cost is just $10 per person when you RSVP in advance, or $12 per person at the door without RSVP (cash or check) which includes breakfast and networking opportunities.

The Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum is an educational networking opportunity to provide information on current issues, trends and programs available to the agricultural community and those who support its advancement.
