Belmont County, KFC/A&W restaurant invite veterans to free meal

Belmont County Farm Bureau President Rusty Winland would like to extend an invitation to all area veterans to attend a Veterans Salute Meal on Friday, Nov. 9 at the KFC and A&W restaurant of Barnesville. The Belmont County Farm Bureau and the KFC and A&W restaurant will be providing a free meal to local veterans in honor of the service they have provided to our country.
The meal, along with dessert, will be served from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and veterans are invited to come anytime during those hours. This is an opportunity to honor our veterans with a small token of appreciation. Plans are to have a registration of all the veterans who attend so there can be a published “thank you” at a later date. Doan Ford will again be sponsoring a radio remote broadcast from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the restaurant.
“Our veterans have provided an invaluable service to us and our country. We would like to say thank you by providing them with a meal,” Winland said. All area veterans are encouraged to attend and enjoy a free meal.
