The purpose of the Animal Agriculture 101 course is to provide a basic understanding of farm animal care and production practices and to identify resources for local animal shelters and officials dealing with animal care
complaints. The one-day training will consist of a classroom lecture and a farm tour and will allow participants to view livestock in a typical farm setting, interact with the farm management and other local agricultural leaders. The event is hosted by Ohio Farm Bureau Federation.
