Monroe County Farm Bureau will hold its 2023 Annual Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 28 at Midway Community Center, 37358 St Rt 800, Sardis. A grilled pork chop dinner will be served by FFA members beginning at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will begin by 6:30 p.m.
Entertainment will be provided by Shortline Junction Bluegrass Band.
At the meeting, members will vote on proposed policies, elect board of trustees members, and elect delegates for the 2024 Ohio Farm Bureau Federation Annual Meeting. Policy concerns include wildlife, broadband internet services, agricultural land sale, and others. Recognition will be given to outstanding volunteers of the organization.
President Cliff Sickler said, “This is our members’ meeting. We encourage all of our members and friends to attend to help better the farm community.”
