Dear Pickaway County Farm Bureau Member.

This past year has been a challenge for many of us, and we have seen changes take place. Chip Nelson of Circleville took over the duties of Sr. Organization Director at the end of September, and Brad Wolford of Stoutsville will become the new county Farm Bureau president at the conclusion of this year’s annual meeting.

The Pickaway County Farm Bureau was once again very prominent at the Pickaway County Fair. The Pickaway County Buyers Club raised nearly $37,000 to support the 4-H and FFA members who had projects at the fair. Our next major event will be the Pickaway County Farm Bureau annual meeting, in conjunction with the Pickaway SWCD annual meeting, and we invite you to attend.

Cost:  FREE

Some Farm Bureau items of business to be handled at this meeting include the election of board members, electing delegates to the 2023 Ohio Farm Bureau Annual Meeting, and voting on proposed code changes which will include a proposed change in membership classification as well as an increase in annual dues. We will also be voting on a new policy proposal. If you are interested in having your name placed on the ballot for a trustee seat, please contact the county Farm Bureau office by Aug. 9, 2022.
