Butler County Farm Bureau Friend of Ag Award Recipients

Butler County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce the 2012 BCFB Friend of Agriculture Award recipients. Ted Kerby and Dave & Gail Lierer were honored at the annual meeting on Sept. 13 with these prestigious awards.

Nick Schwab, past President, made the award to Ted Kerby for his years of service to agriculture, 4-H and Farm Bureau, including past trustee, Vice-Pres. and President. Russ Beckner made the presentation to Dave and Gail Lierer for their years of service to agriculture, 4-H, Fun Day and Farm Bureau. Gail Lierer has served as President of BCFB since 2008.

Congratulations to these deserving 2012 recipients.

Derickson, Steve Bartels, Celeste Baumgartner, Rita Beiser, Jerry & Cleo Gerber, Julie Dalzell, Kellie Warner and Randy Leis.

Butler County has always been one of the counties in Ohio to provide agriculture leadership throughout the decades. The Butler County Farm Bureau board created this award in 1997 to make sure these leaders are recognized for their dedication, leadership, wisdom and courae. Anyone is welcome to nominate people whom they feel have been committed to the betterment of agriculture in Butler County, past or present members. Nominations are accepted annually and the award is presented at the annual meeting.
