Clark County Scholarship Available

Clark County Farm Bureau is announcing its yearly scholarship. Below are the qualifications for applying for the scholarship. Along with an attachment of the scholarship application. 

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD:  1. $500 to be awarded annually based on committee evaluation of applicants.   2. The money will be used for books and tuition. 

ELIGIBILITY: An applicant must: 1. Be a resident of Clark County.  2. Be a full–time student at the time of application.  3. Be majoring in an agricultural field of study, unless the student or his /her parents are Farm Bureau members.  (If they are Farm Bureau members this restrictive major is waived.)  4. Submit two letters of recommendation (not relatives).  5. Must submit application on or before July 1.

SELECTION PROCESS:  1. Applicants will be considered by appointed committee.  2. Recipients will be notified by Aug. 10.  3. Formal announcement and presentation will be at the Clark County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting, in August.
