Grain farmers throughout the state will have the opportunity to hear about the latest agricultural issues impacting their operations.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the symposium will start at 9 a.m. Topics to be discussed during the general session will include an update from Dr. Cathann Kress, Dean of the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at Ohio State University and a discussion of the upcoming farm bill. Attendees will also have a variety of breakout sessions to choose from with topics such as water quality future, trade issues in agriculture, an update of the P Risk Index, a presentation on the grain outlook for 2018, and several other important topics.
The OGFS is held in conjunction with the annual meetings of the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association (OCWGA) and the Ohio Soybean Association (OSA).
