Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19, the Northeast Counties Farm Bureau has POSTPONED the conference until further notice.
Join the Northeast Counties Farm Bureau on Saturday, April 4, 2020 for a conference packed full of information and tools to benefit everyone! We will have an update on current issues affecting your farms and businesses, with diverse breakout sessions filled with information from resources professionals.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and the program begins at 9 a.m. Don’t miss out on this great conference; there will be workshops for everyone! Workshops are subject to change.
There will be three rounds of workshops, each offering four sessions to choose from. In addition, appointments are being scheduled for consultations with representatives from the Ohio Farm Bureau Workers’ Compensation Group Rating Program, OFBF Health Benefits Plan and the OFBF Energy Program.
Session topics
Round 1: Insurance Basics, Nutrient Management, Forestry 101, and Plant Problems & Management.
Round 2: Grazing & Pasture Management, Is your farm prepared for the future?, NRCS programs to Build your Operation, and The Landscape of Local Foods.
Round 3: Hemp 101 in Ohio, Business Law, General Food Labeling, and Cover Crops, Soil Testing & Buffers.

This event is free for Farm Bureau members and $25 for non-members.
