About the hosts
Dale and Cathy’s family farm dates back over 100 years. Dale is a fourth generation farmer. Their farm first started by raising Guernsey and shorthorn cattle along with row crops. In 1949, Dale’s family bought their first purebred Southdown flock for Dale’s father to exhibit in 4-H. Years later, the family added purebred Hampshires to the flock. In addition to purebred sheep, Dale and Cathy grow corn, soybeans and hay.
