The 3rd Annual Emerging Agriculture Conference will take place at Wright State University Lake Campus. This program is presented by Darke and Mercer County Farm Bureaus and Wright State University Collegiate Young Farmers to showcase opportunities in agriculture and to also open the doors to local FFA students to learn about life after high school. In addition to providing education, it will also allow them to be exposed to local businesses.
Breakfast and lunch are provided for the participants. Participants will be able to attend sessions on either production agriculture or agriculture business/niche markets to obtain practical information that can be implemented into their agricultural operations.
The keynote speaker will be Adam Sharp, executive vice president of Ohio Farm Bureau.
$5 for Farm Bureau members
$10 for non-Farm Bureau members
