The Ohio Federation of Soil and Water Conservation Districts, in partnership with the Ohio Association of Soil and Water Conservation District Employees and both state and federal agency partners present their annual meeting “Champions of Conservation, “which will focus on the “undisputed” efforts of Ohio’s 88 Soil and Water Conservation Districts and their many partners to address conservation challenges impacting the state’s natural resources.
This year’s meeting will once again highlight the diversity of the state’s key conservation delivery system with topics that include: soil health and cover crops, new pipeline activity, new technology in the field, harmful algal blooms in the Ohio River, forestry efforts, stormwater BMPs, local foods, conservation outreach and education, Western Lake Erie Basin Efforts and so much more.
Guest speakers and local experts will be involved in this two-day conference that will include more than 500 participants.
