Come to Ruff’s Seed Farm the evening of Sept. 5 to celebrate Farifield County’s local agriculture and horticulture industry with a “taste of the harvest” and the wholesome products being created and marketed by local farmers.
The event is sponsored by the Fairfield-Lancaster Chamber, Fairfield County Farm Bureau, Fairfield Soil and Water, and Ohio State University Extension in Fairfield County.
Enjoy lots of food samples including the famous Cattlemen’s Beef Sundae, complete with mashed potatoes, the vegetables of your choice, and topped off with sirloin beef tips smothered in gravy.
Admission is free, but tickets are required. Secure your free ticket by calling Alicia at the Lancaster-Fairfield Chamber of Commerce office (740-653-8251), or simply pick your tickets up at the offices of OSU Extension, Ruff’s Seed, SWCD, or Farm Bureau.
