Geauga and Portage Soil and Water Conservation Districts’ unique workshop for teachers and educators will be held on the shores of Lake Erie. The intensive three-day program at Old Woman Creek National Estuary in Huron provides investigations of increasingly important water quality and land use issues, one to three graduate credits through Ashland University, and engaging activities led by local resource professionals.
Participants will receive curriculum guides, classroom resources and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to collect research data with the USGS Lake Erie Biological Station.
