In addition to the original Bob Evans Restaurant and food tent on site, the Bob Evans Farm Festival offers traditional fare including bean soup and corn bread, kettle corn, pies, apple dumplings, ice cream and Ohio-made cheeses and trail bologna, as well as other treats.
In the Kids’ area, find an interactive barnyard, a hay bale maze, game tent, kiddie barrel train, straw castle and corn pile. Children will also enjoy the lead horseback rides and wagon rides at the Bob Evans Farm Festival.
Bob Evans has invited Farm Bureau to be a part of this year’s festival. Both Ohio Farm Bureau and Gallia County Farm Bureau will have displays.
Ohio Farm Bureau’s display will feature the very popular augmented reality sand box that has captured the imagination of kids and adults alike, where they can explore how changing topography and changing water levels impact the landscape.
Also on display will be the combine simulator, information about the new Ohio Farm Bureau Health Benefit Plan, plus visitors can enter to win Rocky Boots. Farm Bureau members who show their membership card to a staff member at the tent will receive a $5 Bob Evans gift card (while supplies last).
At the Gallia County booth, stop by for the Bob Evans Collector Basket. It is $45 and supplies are limited. There also will be antique tractors.
Remember to register beginning at 9 a.m. each festival day for the “Pedal Tractor Pull,” where youth of various ages can participate in this traditional test of strength and determination.
Admission: $6 for adults; $4 for children (6-8); 5 and under are free.
