Cincinnati cookbook author Cheri Brinkman will be the featured speaker at the Warren County Historical Society’s February edition of its popular Lunch & Learn program. Tickets cost $20 each, must be purchased in advance and include a gourmet lunch and the speaker’s program. Doors open at 10:00 am for museum tours, lunch is served at 11:30.
Ms. Brinkman is the author of several cookbooks featuring southwest Ohio cuisine. She is best known for Cincinnati & Soup: Recipes from the Queen City and Great Soup. The program includes a look at the agricultural history of Cincinnati from the 19th through the 21st centuries and showcases foods, changes in food technologies, stories and recipes from Cincinnati’s rich culinary traditions.
Cheri Brinkman is a former University of Cincinnati college instructor in communications. She is also a regular on Fox 19 in the morning.
The Warren County Historical Society is a private non-profit organization which owns and operates three historic museum properties in Lebanon, Ohio. The Historical Society operates the Lunch & Learn program as a joint venture with Sinclair Community College’s Life Long Learning program.
