Webb Valley Farm has been in Randy Moore’s family since about 1900. They raise grass-fed cattle, pasture-raised hogs and chicken, eggs and open-pollinated corn.
The Clinton County Leadership Institute organizes the event each year as a fundraiser for Junior Achievement and youth and adult leadership training programs.
At the dinner, there will be chicken, pork and beef from Webb Valley Farm; roasted vegetables; fresh green beans cooked over an open fire in a large cauldron; all cooked on site. There will also be homemade cold slaw, sliced tomatoes and other seasonal dishes.
There will be a printed menu at all the tables detailing all the dishes, whether organic or non-organic.
Tickets are $25 per adult, and includes the full dinner. Tickets can be obtained by calling the Clinton County Leadership office, 937-382-7120, from any member of the Leadership board; and at The Cotton Junkie, 110 W. Main St. in Wilmington.
Advance purchase of tickets is encouraged.
There will be live music all evening as well as a pie/dessert auction that will take place after dinner. In addition there will be a cornhole tournament and farmers market.
