Les Dames d’Escoffier, Cleveland’s female culinary professionals, invite you to celebrate the women who help make the West Side Market the dynamic culinary treasure it is today. Hear stories of the butcher, the bakers and the sauerkraut makers told by the lady vendors in a lively discussion moderated by Dame Marilou Suszko, co-author of “Cleveland’s West Side Market: 100 Years and Still Cooking.” Enjoy delightful small dishes featuring prepared foods and artisan products from women-owned stands at the Market, a unique LDEI cocktail created especially for the event and tours of the Market Garden Brew House by brewer Jennifer Hermann. There will be a book signing with Suszko and a very special raffle with culinary-themed prizes. All proceeds benefit the Northeast Ohio Green Tables Initiative of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
Tickets: $45 at www.cleveland.ldei.org
