The session will share insight and support from leading industry professionals in putting together a comprehensive farm transition and succession plan. Join your Farm Bureau for dinner, gain the appropriate next steps and finally take this winter to put your farm transition plan together.
Cost is $10 for non-members and free for Farm Bureau members (includes dinner).

Caleb is the owner and principal agent of the Douce Agency, LLC in Marion. He has been involved with insurance and financial services since 2008 when he received his bachelor’s degree in economic management from Ohio Wesleyan University. Douce’s agency is focused on building long-term relationships with the clients they serve. Caleb has hands-on experience that generates consistent word of mouth recommendations and is recognized as an expert in his field not only in personal insurance needs, but also agribusiness, commercial services, life and financial policies as well as long term care planning. Caleb and his team were also recently awarded the Elite Farm Certification from Nationwide. Caleb has an extensive farming background having grown up on a 500 acre farm. He has helped manage all aspects of farm operations from raising corn, soybeans and wheat, as well as raising and showing sheep.
Ryan grew up on a small dairy farm in Plain City and has been with Wright & Moore Law Co. LPA since 2015. With an undergraduate degree in agriculture from Ohio State, a University of Florida master’s degree in ag education, and law study at Michigan State University, Conklin assists clients on a number of issues related to agritourism, wind/solar leases, farmland transactions, dispute resolution and farm transition planning. His greatest joys in private practice involve the work he has completed for ag nonprofits and the numerous young farmers he has helped begin and advance their operations.
