Fairfield County Farm Bureau invites participants to learn the basics of food preservation. Learn how to can, pickle, dehydrate and ferment fresh food from the garden or local farmers market. The course covers processes and procedures to ensure preserved food stays safe and tasty.
Cost: Farm Bureau members: Free; Nonmembers: $25
Students receive an email invite to the course on launch date. The invite allows them to gain access to the entire curriculum. They can work through it at their own pace and time.
