Food insecurity affects 15% of Ross County residents according to a Feeding America research report. 11,560 Ross County residents, veterans, people with disabilities, seniors, and children, cannot always afford and access enough food for their family.
Nourse Ford of Chillicothe and the Ross County Farm Bureau will collect donations from Farm Bureau members and the community at the Ross County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting on Aug. 29, 2019. The Ford truck will be parked outside the venue, St. Mary’s Church, 40 E 4th Street, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601, to accept donations from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Good Samaritan Food Pantry has a special need for the following items:
- Toilet paper
- Juice drinks
- Baby formula
- Fresh food as well as non-perishable food items.
Please bring a donation for Good Samaritan and stay to attend the Ross County Farm Bureau 2019 Annual Meeting beginning at 6 p.m. Ross County Farm Bureau members will vote on county, state and national policies. Attendees can meet and interact with county leadership, and celebrate the Ohio Farm Bureau’s centennial year. A delicious meal and entertainment will make the meeting memorable.
