Start the weekend with a Friday night dinner reception for participants in the hotel’s private meeting room. After dinner, guests can head down to the pub to enjoy the decorations, costumes and music from the band “Streetwise” for the rest of the evening. At midnight, for those who are still up for adventure, the group will head down to the Historic Murphy Theater for a showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
On Saturday morning, enjoy a breakfast in the pub and tour downtown Wilmington. Farm Tours will follow at Branstrators Farm in Clarksville and Cherry Bend Pheasant Farm in Sabina with a stop for lunch at Jen’s Deli in Wilmington. Enjoy warm coffee drinks and treats at The Kava Haus on the way back from the farm tours. Upon arrival at the Hotel guests will make Harvest Wreaths with Nellie Ashmore of “that Girls Flowers” and participants will make and decorate their own wreath to take home.
Dinner for the evening will be served in the hotel’s formal dining room featuring courses created with wild game and seasonal vegetables from local farms with information on preparation and recipes from The General Denver’s talented chefs. Food will be paired with local wines and craft beers. Enjoy the end of the evening with the sounds of Joel Hogle performing in the Pub.
On Sunday morning, enjoy a delicious brunch in the dining room before heading home.
