The Hancock Historical Museum is hosting this seven stop tour, all of them centrally located around the community of Jenera, just outside of Findlay. All of the stops are lovely, pastoral settings with idyllic country backdrops. Enjoy activities at each of the stops – a bluegrass band at one, a quilt show at another. Each of the barns has a great story and history. Many have been in the family for generations and most have been painstakingly restored. The barns all date from about 1870-1905.
On the evening of Sept. 14, the Museum will be hosting a farm-to-table dinner at one of the stops on the tour. The dinner will be prepared by Michael Bulkowski, a nationally acclaimed chef and former owner of Revolver in Findlay. All of the food for the dinner will be locally sourced, with much of it coming from Community Markets’ own hoop houses.
Hancock County Farm Bureau is a sponsor of the event, as well as Blanchard Valley Farmer’s Co-op and Ag Credit.
