No matter the size of your woodlot, trees have value that increases with time, proper management and optimal health. The Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, ODNR Ohio Division of Forestry and Geauga County Farm Bureau are teaming up to provide an informative program to explore tools and resources to sustainably and profitably manage private woodlands.
Learn about federal programs that can help achieve timber and wildlife goals for the new year! This program is part of “Woodland Wednesdays,” an exciting new workshop series promoting healthy trees and woodlands. This workshop is free but reservations are required and the deadline to register is Monday, Jan. 13. Register online or contact the District at 440-834-1122 or via email.
