Wade Gottschalk, executive director, Wood County Economic Development Commission (WCEDC), will discuss the local and county economy, demographics, and provide an update on economic development and the relationship to agriculture. The event is hosted by the Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT) at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation (AIF).
WCEDC, a public/private partnership to grow the employment and tax base of Wood County, Ohio, has attracted more than $2.5 billion of private sector investment and 7,000 jobs since becoming an Ohio non-profit corporation in 1993.
Arrive early, as breakfast and informal networking will start at 8 a.m., with the program to follow. The cost is just $10 per person when you RSVP in advance, or $12 per person at the door without RSVP (cash or check) which includes breakfast and networking opportunities.
